290Eligibility Requirements%u2022 Only Club Wyndham points associated with ownership interests purchased directly through Wyndham Vacation Resorts or its affiliates (Developer-Purchased Ownership Interests), DeveloperPurchased Ownership Interests acquired by will or intestate succession, Developer-Purchased Ownership Interests acquired by %u201cImmediate Relative%u201d of Members, or through PIC enrollments count toward VIP status. %u201cImmediate Relative%u201d currently includes parents, spouses, domestic partners, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Purchases of ownership interests made from private individuals or resale companies will not count toward the total points required for VIP eligibility. Points from resale contracts do not count toward VIP status and are not eligible for VIP benefits.%u2022 Club Wyndham Members who met the eligibility requirements for VIP by Wyndham status prior to November 10, 2020, will retain their current VIP status based on the VIP points levels in effect prior to November 1, 2012 or November 10, 2020, as applicable. %u201cLegacy%u201d VIP GuidelinesWhat is a legacy-eligible point? Club Wyndham points associated with ownership interests purchased directly through Wyndham Vacation Resorts or its affiliates, (Developer-Purchased Ownership Interests) acquired by will or intestate succession, DeveloperPurchased Ownership Interests acquired by %u201cImmediate Relative%u201dof Members, or through PIC Plus conversions owned prior to November 10, 2020.Upgrading your membership: (to reach the next VIP tier) If you are a Club Wyndham Member with legacy VIP by Wyndham status and you trade or purchase an additional Developer-Purchased Ownership Interest on or after November 10, 2020, you will need to purchase enough points to reach the next current VIP by Wyndham points tier.For example, if you are at the Silver level with 450,000 points, you will need to purchase an additional 350,000 points to reach the next VIP by Wyndham tier (Gold). If you do not meet the minimum points required for the next tier of VIP by Wyndham, you will retain your legacy VIP by Wyndham status at your current level.Decreasing your membership: If you are a Legacy VIP by Wyndham Member at a VIP tier and the legacy eligible point value of your membership decreases for any reason (e.g., because you sold or transferred one or more of your Developer-Purchased Ownership Interests), in order to maintain VIP status at the same or lower tier, you must meet the applicable VIP Point Tiers prior to November 1, 2012 or November 10, 2020 depending on your original purchase or upgrade date and eligibility at that time (see current Eligibility Requirements). If you are a Legacy VIP by Wyndham Member and your eligible points decrease for any reason, at that time, your account will be recalculated and the highest tier will be applied. If your Legacy VIP by Wyndham eligible points owned fall below 300,000, you will no longer be VIP. In order to then regain your VIP status, you will need to purchase the minimum points required by the current VIP by Wyndham points levels. Club Wyndham may from time to time offer programs that could affect your membership tier. If you choose to participate in these programs, please contact Owner Services at 800-251-8736 to determine if your membership tier will be affected. Family transfers: If you are a Legacy VIP by Wyndham Member and wish to transfer one of your Developer-Purchased Ownership Interests to an %u201cImmediate Relative,%u201d the eligible DeveloperPurchased Ownership Interests that were purchased prior to November 10, 2020, will be considered eligible toward the applicable VIP points level prior to November 10, 2020 (see Eligibility Requirements). The Immediate Relative that you are transferring your Developer-Purchased Ownership Interest to will need a minimum of 300,000 legacy-eligible points to receive legacy VIP status.
